When I was a teenager and even younger all I wanted to do was move to the big city.
I lived on a farm with fields surrounding the house, leading to a forest and eventually a lake. The horses would wander the fields and when I also wandered them I was sometimes accompanied by cats and dogs.
None of that mattered, I thought the city was more interesting. When I was eighteen I moved to Toronto, Canada (a big city by Canadian standards).
Later, I moved to the smaller city of North Bay and then Ottawa and back and forth between them.
Now, I want to get out of the city and into the country. You never escape your roots, I guess.
